The 70-year-old and his 36-year-old spouse fell pregnant just nine months after welcoming their son Alexander and are believed to be three months along.
Alejandra already has son Albert, aged six, from a previous marriage while Richard and ex-wife Carey Lowell are parents to 19 year-old son Homer.
News of their second child together was first reported by Spanish Hola! magazine and comes after Richard previously admitted that he has no worries about being an older father.
