While Kevin keeps busy filming the current series of the BBC show, investigative journalist Stacey has been filming a documentary in the United States.
Over the weekend, the star paid tribute to his girlfriend by sharing a sweet video of her dancing the Paso Doble with him in the 2018 series.
He wrote alongside the footage: "One year ago.. @bbcstrictly week 10 @sjdooley had been struggling all week in rehearsals. Couldn't get through the choreography, wasn't feeling confident about the dance. We got to the TV studio to do our first camera run and it all started to click...."
The pair have been struggling with the separation, so much so that when Stacey returned to the UK for one day last week, she spent it in Blackpool with Kevin as he rehearsed for the Saturday evening show.
