The 'Downton Abbey' actress and her husband have decided to go their separate ways after eight years together, she revealed via the Daily Mail.
"We've actually been separated for a little while," Joanne told the publication. "I'm looking to the future. I'm just going to embrace this year and see what happens."
The couple wed in 2012, a day that the 39 year-old later described as the happiest of her life.
Despite their split, they still plan to work together on various film and TV projects in the future.
