The model has two children, three year-old Luna and baby Miles, aged 21 months, with her husband John Legend.
While the first days as a family were overwhelming for the 34 year-old, she is fortunate for the support she received from other parents.
Speaking during an Instagram Live chat, Chrissy - who has been married to John since 2013 - explained: "When you're a new mom you don't know what's right. You don't know if you're doing it incorrectly.
"When you do reach out to ask, you get a million different answers. I do have a few good mom chats going on. You're looking for solidarity.
"It's important to have other moms, and really just a loving partner."
While it may have been a daunting experience at first, Chrissy is content with her family of four and believes she has everything she could have ever wished for in life.
